Anna Morris
ADHD mom, fierce advocate, and creator of The Glitterbomb Advocate. I’ve fought the hard battles: the school meetings, the pharmacy chaos, the misunderstood meltdowns — and I’ve learned how to win, or at least come out glitter-dusted and wiser. I share what I’ve learned with humor, heart, and just enough sass to keep things honest.
The Shift
What began as a quiet question—"why is this so hard? and what am I doing wrong?" —became a loud and glittery transformation into fierce, informed advocacy.
Hard-Won Wisdom
I’ve battled schools, systems, and self-doubt to gather the tools, strategies, and survival skills that now shape how I parent and support others.
Why This Exists
Glitterbomb Advocate is the space I needed but couldn’t find—a place where parents raising wonderfully different kids feel seen, supported, and not so alone.
My Story
Once upon a time, there was a mom who thought she knew what parenting would look like. Neat. Predictable. Maybe even a little Pinterest-worthy. Then life handed her two brilliantly unique, fiercely one-of-a-kind kids—and tossed the rulebook straight out the window.
I’m a proud parent of two amazing children who don’t fit any mold—and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. Around here, we don’t do “normal.” We do messy. We do magical. We do meltdown-filled, wildly creative, beautifully stubborn, real life.
We do victories that nobody else sees—like getting through a grocery store trip without losing a shoe—and battles that nobody talks about, like fighting for the support our kids need and deserve.
I didn’t set out to become an advocate. I was just a mom trying to figure out why my son couldn’t sit still, why transitions felt like trauma, and why the world didn’t seem built for a boy like mine.
Then came the diagnosis: ADHD. What followed wasn’t relief—it was an explosion. Of paperwork. Of confusion. Of raw emotion. Of truth. It was like someone had tossed a glitterbomb into our lives. Messy, chaotic, sparkly, loud—impossible to ignore.
And in that glittery, overwhelming chaos, something beautiful emerged: clarity. Purpose. A voice.
That’s why I created Glitterbomb Advocate. This space is for every parent raising kids who don’t fit neatly into the boxes. Whether you’re navigating ADHD, autism, anxiety, sensory differences, learning struggles, or just the daily reality of raising a kid who colors outside the lines—you’re not alone here.
This isn’t about perfection. It’s about parenting with glitter in your hair and resilience in your bones. It’s about showing up, even when you’re running on fumes. It’s about fierce love, hard-won hope, and a refusal to let our kids be misunderstood or left behind.
Glitterbomb Advocate was built to give parents a space to breathe. To laugh. To ugly-cry when needed. It’s a place for connection, for real talk, for community and resources and reminders that you’re doing better than you think.
